After being inspired by all the ladies on Instagram with the beautiful glitter nails, I came across this Wet & Wild Megalast set at Walgreens, and had to purchase it! Originally, I wanted Essie, but their polish is $8 a bottle. This set comes with color, glitter, and topcoat polishes. Claims 5 day, long wearing, chip resistant.
Will confirm or deny at the end of the week.
To accomplish this look, I:

I had the pleasure of sitting next to this little girl and her father on my flight from Detroit (by way of Korea) back home. This little girl’s father amazed me as I watched him style his daughter’s hair! He had a brush, comb, AND conditioner (in a plastic baggie) and went to work on his daughter’s hair! It was an awesome sight! He meticulously parted, braided, and styled (with ponytails on the ends of each braid) her hair for about 30 minutes into the style you see in the picture, during our flight! I hope no one is surprised that the quote above is a Nina Simone original…Jennifer Hudson sings it in her weight watchers commercial
If you aren’t familiar with Nina (born Eunice Kathleen Waymon), I am delighted to enlighten you. Known as the ‘High Priestess of Soul’, she could weave a spell so seductive and hypnotic that the listener lost track of time and space as they became absorbed in the moment. An American singer, songwriter, pianist, arranger, and civil rights activist widely associated with jazz music, Simone aspired to become a classical pianist while working in a broad range of styles including classical, jazz, blues, folk, R&B, gospel, and pop.
We love and miss you Nina! Your music is classic and lives on!
Her Power? She uses her hair like Doc Ock uses his tentacles! One minute you’re basing your hairline for a dose of that creamy crack, and in the next second, wham! She uses her powerful Hair Whip to combat that foolishness! You didn’t see it coming!
Do you know of any actresses, who are natural, that would make great superheros? If so, what would their super power be (power MUST pertain to her hair ;)?
This lady invented FIERCE! I’m sure you know her as Stronge’ but she’s much bigger than that! Grace Jones is a Jamaican-American singer, model and actress. Securing a record deal with Island Records in 1977 resulted in a string of dance-club hits.
