This photo is a sneak peak of this labor day weekend; my friends and I went hiking in Elijay GA. It was beautiful, exhilarating, and fun! More pics to come!
Has Your Afro been seen, on the scene?
Happy Tuesday!
Yesterday I relaxed after a fun and exhilarating weekend!
Friday morning, friends and I hiked through the El Yunque (yoon-kay) rain forrest in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. El Yunque is the only tropical rain forest in the U.S. National Forest system. It’s really beautiful. To hike to the top would have taken 4 hours, so we opted to just see the waterfall, which was a 35 minute hike each way. Though tiring and at times a challenge, we made it to the top! I’m so proud of us! I also discovered that I really enjoy hiking; it’s a great workout and a great way to see the beauty in nature all around us.
This Labor Day weekend was epic for me. I got to go home (#DMV) and hang out w/ friends and family. I spent the weekend mostly with my sister who I haven’t seen in 9 or 10 years.
It’s interesting to see siblings grow up. I left home for school when she was 12 years old so it was fun watching her as a woman.
When I was in Oahu, I went Parasailing
On a Scale of 1-10…I give this 5 afro puffs!!
