As you know, in August I tested out the knock off Wen product (Conditioner & Cleanser for Curly Hair) by Lisa Rachel. Last weekend when I went home, my BFF gave me her Wen Cleansing Conditioner and Deep Conditioning Wen products so I decided to try it and see if the original product was worth purchasing.
There is only enough product in the bottle for two applications, so my experiment will be a short one.

Yesterday was Beauty Day. Since I BC‘d, I’ve been trying to edit my old hair routine. Initially I tried the “go with what you know” method on my fully natural hair, but it wasn’t working simply because my hair completely lacked moisture after sealing. I am uncertain as to whether or not it is the method (liquid leave-in, creamy leave-in, and butter to seal) that isn’t working or the products (modified kimmaytube leave-in, giovanni direct leave-in, and homemade shea butter cream) I was using. My first order of business is to actually get someone to cut off the remaining ends. Originally, my baby sister was going to visit me and do it for me, but that plan fell through. I spoke to one of my girlfriends and if she’s available, she will do it.
