Check out the eye candy! Afro textured hair is so versatile; it’s one of my favorite things about having this texture. At different states, wet, dry, product, no product, the hair can take on a different appearance.

It was great seeing my family!

PicnicTwo weekends ago, I attended the 2nd Annual Picnic for a group I’m a member of called “Black Women Who Want More”. I had a great time! Check the scarf! I decided to rock the scarf simply because I had twists in my hair that hadn’t been in long enough to set my hair.  I recommend scarves, turbans, and/or headwraps when you’re in a bind! They are beautiful and versatile, while adding a pop of color and style to your outfit! Additionally, If you’re not on meetup.com, you’re seriously missing out!

Denman 101 | Is the Denman For Natural Hair?

Have you heard about the Denman Brush? The denman dates back to 1938 and was created by John Denman Dean (Jack Dean). It was not until the 60s when hairdressing legend Vidal Sassoon popularized the brushes using his revolutionary new blow-styling techniques.

The 76 year old styling brush is equipped with 5 – 9 rows of nylon pins. The famous Denman anti-static rubber pad provides maximum grip and control during blow-drying for shaping hair.
