10 Things You Need to Know About Getting a Faded Cut

KN_MiniBigChopI unequivocally love my fade! I’ve never had a funkier hairstyle and I’ve never been able to switch my look up so frequently!

I was steadfast in my decision and scoured the net for inspiration for my cut.  I was a bit unsure about what the repercussions would be at the office (or if I decided to change jobs), but I reasoned that I would still have enough hair to cover the shaved parts. I would unveil the full extent of the cut gradually. Only three people in the office noticed; my boss noticed about two months after I’d been wearing the cut and two other ladies noticed six months later.

I was in a crunch and I really wanted to look polished so against my best judgement I went to another barber. *Hangs Head in Shame* Long story short, I’ll be more explicit in another post but after being unsatisfied with the job the barber did, I went and allowed my barber to fix her error. I ended up with a severe case of razor burn.

I love my sideburns!

Although this is completely out of the ordinary for me, I’m in love with the results! What motivated me to do a second chop was wanting a change. I knew I wanted a shape to my fro, something edgy and adventurous!  I scoured the internet for inspiration and decided on a tapered cut. After agonizing over the details of who would execute the cut, whether to cut it in the curly or blown out state, and most important I worried that I’d hate it.
