I Left My Heart In Puerto Rico…

But I’m going back to get it!

If you haven’t been to Puerto Rico, what are you waiting for? It’s beautiful all year long! Just pick a time and go!

The locals are warm and welcoming!

Special thanks to Tamara and Yari for a great time at Cafe’ la Plage
Met some great folks in PR!

One of the ladies I met put me on to a site called Couch Surfers. It’s the world’s largest traveling community. You can host a group traveling or travel and be hosted by a group in different parts of the world. Check it out!

Beautiful Sights!

El Yunque Rain Forest

Great Music! We literally partied all night (to live bands at that), then we watched the sun rise on the beach…

Thanks to all the (beautiful) men who were patient while they taught me to salsa!

The Plan B: 1503 Loiza Street San Juan, PR
On the way to the Nuyurican Cafe’, Old San Juan

No Passport needed! (I still recommend getting one just in case you get the opportunity to travel overseas, where you WILL need one).

One of my Travel Buddies!
No Sleeping in San Juan!

On a Natural Hair note, I got several compliments about wanting to have curly afro-textured hair like mine! I certainly can identify with hair envy; before I went natural, I was in awe of the beauty of natural hair.

I can’t wait to go back…I miss it already! On my next trip, I plan to see more of the historic city of San Juan, zipline, and eat seafood! In January, there is a celebration that I may attend. Hopefully more friends will be a part of the trip!
